May 3-5 was a big weekend for us. After participating in the State Festival with the Homeschool Orchestra, Isaac and Benjy enjoyed an afternoon doing their favorite thing...playing music. The purpose was to practice for their recital that evening, but they also had alot of fun jamming.
They held a recital at Alton Bible Church on Friday and one in Zeeland on Saturday.

On Friday night, my parents and their good friends, the Tillotsons came for the Youth Symphony Concert on Sunday afternoon, but also got to enjoy the recital on Saturday night...bonus!

We had a great time playing games and hiking in Seidman Park and telling stories and making yummy desserts. Family and friends...such a blessing!
